Proudly being yourself

Having gone through a lot, having to remember and relive past memories is torture.

It hurts being somehow forced to remember something that once made you so happy. Isn’t it scary how when you look back and see how happy you were, you had no idea that things would end up changing as much as they have. It hurts a hell of a lot and sometimes you just feel like being alone to figure out your emotions and you know, that is also okay. I’m here to tell you that it’s okay to be sad when you feel sad. It’s okay to cry when you want to cry. It’s okay to break down if you need to. Crying isn’t a sign of weakness. It takes strength to release emotion, as ironic as that may sound. But it’s true. One thing I have come to realize is that many people tend to hold everything back, because they are afraid of appearing “weak”. And for what? For what reason do you believe in that? How does that even make sense to you? Why would you hold back emotions that are literally eating you up inside when you can do what’s best for yourself and what’s actually healthy for you by releasing them. I cannot stress it enough how important it is to release your emotions. Embrace it. Embrace every emotion. Your soul knows how to heal itself. You just need to allow it to. Your soul only wants what’s best for you and that is to heal you. Your soul will never ever be against you. Your soul loves you and will always take care of you. If you lose your way, your soul will help you retrace your steps to find your way back to your foundation. Whether you like it or not and whether you deny it or not, your soul has a say in every single thing that you do, and that is why it is of utmost importance to make your soul your number 1 priority.

As I said before, there is a huge difference between being full of yourself & selfish and actually taking care of yourself and knowing what is good for you and what is not. There is a fine line between the two. Master that and you’ll never go wrong. A healthy soul gives rise to a happy human.
