it changed mine. //
Did you notice how many of us are waiting for this specific something to happen or to come our way so that we can finally consider ourselves as people that are living their lives? Somehow we fell into this as we were growing up and the more you think about it, the more you realize that you actually have no clue where this concept actually came from. We are all waiting for this magical moment that we can’t even define, because we aren’t even really sure what this thing is that we are waiting for so that we can finally say we are living, but for now we just continue to wait around, waste precious moments and say “I’ll know what it is when it gets here.” What if this specific something never even comes and 10, 15, what, 50 years down the line we turn around just to realize that we were too busy waiting for this magical something that we didn’t notice any of the things that was worthy of being appreciated then. What if this that we wake up to every morning is what we’ll have for the rest of our lives and this thing we’re waiting for doesn’t even exist or just never comes around? I know that gives me more reason to forget about the future and destiny and all that hype of a specific future, and to rather love every moment that is here now. I’m choosing to focus my vision on the small things, are you?
