Lately, this has been happening way too often and it had me thinking, this is probably a thing that many of you struggle with too. So today’s blog post will most definitely be one that aims to encourage and inspire you just a little bit more so that you can finally reach that point you’ve always dreamed of reaching, and that is no other than:

Why is it that so many of us struggle so much when it comes to contentment? Isn’t it strange how we refuse to trade worry and stress for blissful peace? A beautiful place that almost many do not know exists, which is made up of nothing but pure peace, tranquillity and joy. Fun fact: Did you know you can live a completely happy and calm life during a storm? I’m pretty sure your answer is yes, if not, it should be! And to those of you that answered yes, what’s the deal man? Why would you stress yourself out over something you clearly have no control over? In most cases, we, unfortunately, have no control over the things we are worried about.

So today I am not asking you, I am telling you to finally do yourself a great favor and let go of all the things that worry you. Today is the day you finally take a fresh breath of air. Today is the day you finally introduce yourself to contentment. How do I do that? , you ask? Well, that’s what I’m here for, so let me help you. It’s as easy as this:

Step 1: Identify all your worries by name and gather them in your metaphorical basket.

Step 2: Allow yourself to accept each and every worry you have placed in that basket.

Step 3: Once you have made peace with every worry in your life, hand it over completely to God and take your first deep breath inhaling peace and acceptance only.

Truth time: You can only move on or allow yourself to be okay with your life or any situation once you stop focusing your energy on denial. You will become a healthier person if you accept the things you really can’t change. Do not feel sorry for yourself. I repeat. Do not feel sorry for yourself. You will not help yourself at all. It’s not about changing your situation; It’s changing how you handle the situation. Accept and keep on growing.
