So let’s be real, how many times do we feel like we’re not good enough?
How many times do we feel that who we are is to blame for this or that not working out?
It has become such a habit for us to speak to ourselves in such a manner that we have ended up convincing ourselves to believe all that we think.
Rule number 1 is to NEVER believe everything that your mind thinks and we are most definitely aware of this but yet it has become a priority in our lives to constantly be self-destructive.
This past weekend at church, I had the privilege of re-learning something that could change everyone’s lives for the better and all you have to do is just listen.
Are you ready for it? Okay here goes:
What you think is what you feel and what you feel will be your outward reaction.
This is so important and everyone needs to understand this. So let me say that again.
What YOU think,
Is what YOU feel,
And what YOU feel,
Will be your outward reaction.
Everything that you think will affect your emotions and your behaviour will reflect exactly how you feel.
This is exactly why we shouldn’t always believe every thought produced by our minds.
I have realized this a very long time ago and to be reminded of this again this past weekend is such a blessing as life tends to get so busy and complicated that I forget to keep my eyes and mind focused on what keeps me mentally and emotionally healthy.
It is of utmost importance to realize where you are going wrong so that you can not only remove but replace these negative thoughts with positive ones.
We have to start placing both hands on the wheel of our lives and the best place to start is by training our minds.
You have to believe that you are worthy. That you are beautiful. That you are strong and lovely and wonderful! You are an inspiration and you are unique in your own special way, and you HAVE to embrace that. I urge you to let go of all your fears and to start embracing who you were created to be. If you have been looking for a sign, this is it. I am reminding you today that you have been created for a reason. You have a purpose, and as long as you believe that you have a purpose, there is hope. God doesn’t create anything worthless. He has spent a great amount of time planning and designing every aspect of you and your life. You just have to believe that.
Don’t forget, you are LOVED deeply!
Lots of love
P.S. Love Gen xx
