Don’t force yourself to feel something you don’t yet feel. Don’t force yourself to be ready for something when you aren’t yet ready, and up to a certain extent, don’t force yourself to be okay when you aren’t really.

I’ve learnt that I have to be gracious with myself. I have to remind myself that it’s okay. It’s okay if I don’t yet feel how I’d like to feel. It’s okay that I’m not entirely okay. It’s okay that I pull back completely without doing it intentionally. You’re broken. So give yourself Grace. You’re broken, but you won’t be forever.

Your flowers will grow regardless of the light or darkness around you and you will be grateful that you were graceful with yourself.

It’s okay to give yourself some of the amazing love that you so happily give others. It’s all okay. 🌹
