Things that need to be said more:
God does these challenging things to shift your life into place. He does these things to make you realize that there is more to life than the person you fell in love with in high school. God does these things to make you understand that you have a life that is made up of purpose. Follow God, not the person you once fell in love with.
We are always so willing to shift things, high and low, to make room for another person, focusing all our time and energy on “fixing” that relationship and having no room, time or energy for God.
Have you ever thought that maybe in life, things don’t go your way because your priorities are actually incorrect?
Focus and trust in God’s plan for your life, not the plans and “future” that person placed in your head. It may be tough, but ultimately, the end of you and him/her was the beginning of you. Recognize. #mylightinspires
